2012 Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge: books on iPad and Kindle from Prep – Grade 2 list

Posted by: Marita on: April 28, 2012

The note came home at the beginning of last term about the 2012 Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge, we’ve participated for the last three years and the girls have always enjoyed discovering new books.

This year our library shelves were sadly bare of books on the challenge list. I do believe word has gotten out about the library being the place to go for reading material. So I turned to eBooks and found some of the books on the Reading Challenge list were available for iPad and Kindle.

It has taken me a while to comb through the complete Prep-Grade 2 list to see which books were available as eBooks.

If you find an iPad/ Kindle book that is on the list and I haven’t linked to it, please let me know, either in the comments or use the contact form in the header. Thank you.

A little disclaimer:

  • There may be some errors, I am only human after all.
  • Many Kindle books were not available to purchase in Australia, you may however be able to get eBooks by that author overseas.
  • Some authors had childrens books published in iPad and / or Kindle format, however they were not the specific books on the list.
  • iPad books may also be available in iPhone format.

Happy Reading

Fantastic list Marita! It would have taken ages to put together – thanks for sharing it!

Thank YOU Marita… now to encourage Master six to read… MORE! xxXOoo

Thank you so much!! I have a little one doing the NSW challenge and for many reasons (time, storage & resources) prefer to buy ebooks over paperback. I’ve spent a LONG time trawling sites to try and find books – thank you!!!

A pleasure Bec, good luck with your reading challenge. :)
